Simple meals, fresh ingredients, and real food made from whatever the land gives me.
This series follows the full journey of food — planting it, growing it, harvesting it, cooking it, preserving it, and occasionally turning it into something unexpected. Think homemade sauces, fresh vegetables, simple meals, garden experiments, wine projects, preserves, and whatever else happens along the way.

A chunky homemade sauce made with fresh tomatoes, roasted zucchini, roasted eggplant, garlic powder, onion flakes, salt, and pepper. This was my first official Garden to Table recipe, and honestly, it came together exactly the way I like to cook — simple ingredients, a little experimenting, and a sauce that tastes like it came straight from the garden. There’s something incredibly comforting about homemade rosemary bread baking in the oven. The smell alone makes the entire house feel calm and lived in. This loaf has a soft interior, a lightly crisp crust, and just enough rosemary to give it that rustic garden-to-table feel without overpowering the bread itself.
This recipe works beautifully alongside soups, stews, olive oil dipping plates, or simply toasted with a little butter while still warm.
More recipes and garden-to-table experiments are coming soon as the garden grows, the seasons change, and I keep figuring this out one meal at a time.
